Discovery Preschool
Ages 3 & 4 Years
Discovery Preschool (Young Preschool) is what we at Building Blocks describe as the real deal. This classroom is where the skills that were established over the last three years take shape. Your child will learn to identify letters, numbers, shapes and colors. They will learn to count past ten in English and Spanish and will explore literacy, science, math and art.
Here your child will also meet for morning meeting and learn as they play in Keystone STARS approved centers. Discovery also has a monthly calendar, which is sent home and posted for the parents.
If you are not in need of extended care hours and are interested in a traditional preschool, we suggest enrolling for 2-3 days per week, from 9 am-1 pm.

K-Prep Academy
This is kindergarten preparation at its best.
Ages 4 & 5 Years
We believe that how a child learns is as important as what they learn. That's why our programs are designed to inspire a love of learning through hands-on lessons that make any educational experience fun!

When your child enters Building Block’s K-Prep Academy, be prepared for them to embark on a journey that will not only mentally, but physically prepare them to become a kindergartner. In this class our teachers also utilize information gathered from local elementary schools to create lesson plans that are not only geared toward their age, but have a strong emphasis on the skills they need to master. Some of the main focus areas include, writing their names, identifying and reciting their phone number and addresses, and learning through hands on activities both teacher and student initiated. The theme in this room changes monthly and a calendar is sent home with all relative information.
